Day 1 :

Lake Nakuru National Park

Depart Nairobi at 8 am. Take a 4-hour drive to Nakuru. Home to swarms of flamingoes, Lake Nakuru is a pleasant destination. Accompanying the flamingoes are pelicans, cormorants, kingfishers, ostrich, storks as well as herons and eagles. The scene here is bountiful, busy and full of color. The landscape is dotted with acacia trees. The park is also sanctuary to one of Kenya’s largest populations of black rhino.
Another aspect to the active wildlife viewing here is observing the park’s zebra, hippo, olive baboon, vervet and colobus monkeys, waterbuck and hyena. Other big safari wildlife to be on the lookout for includes lion, cheetah, leopard and buffalo. The park is fenced to protect the rhino and giraffe, so it can’t support elephants – Kenya’s only large mammal you won’t find here.

Day 2 :

Lake Nakuru National Park – Masai Mara National Reserve

Enjoy breakfast and check out of the hotel. Explore Lake Nakuru National Park on your way out. Head to Masai Mara and arrive in time for lunch.

Day 3 :

Masai Mara National Park

On this day, you may head out for an early morning balloon safari (optional activity) with champagne breakfast in the bush upon landing. This will have you fully experience the true wilderness of Mara. After this, you can either enjoy a full day game drive with a picnic lunch in the reserve or head back to the hotel to enjoy the amenities and relax and head out for an evening game drive.
Option 2 would be to enjoy a full day game drive: depart after breakfast, enjoy some hours in the park and enjoy lunch a picnic lunch in the park.
Option 3: do an early morning game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast. Enjoy the hotels amenities and head back for an evening game drive from around 4 pm.
Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 :

Masai Mara to Nairobi

You shall check out of the hotel after breakfast and go experience a Maasai Village Visit where you can get the cultural experience of how the Maasai live and how they interact with each other. I bet it’s something different than you’re used to.
You will now head back to Nairobi and get dropped off at your Nairobi accommodation or at the airport for your flight out, by 5 pm. This will be the end of your tour with us. You shall definitely be missed.
